From the airport
The Amerigo Vespucci Airport is linked with the city centre by an airport shuttle, Volainbus, and by the ATAF bus n.62. Tickets can be purchased on the bus and shuttle.
A taxi from the airport to the city centre is about 15 minutes long and should cost around 15/16 Euros.

By train
Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is in the city centre close to the church of Santa Maria Novella. Regional and national trains daily link Florence with the national territory.
Outside the station are the bus stops of various ATAF bus routes cover the whole city crossing the centre in various directions.


By taxi
Taxis in Florence are readily available, particularly in the centre. If you cannot find one at hand you can call one by dialling one of the following telephone numbers: 055 43 90 | 055 44 99 | 055 47 98 | 055 42 42.
There are two different taxi companies, Radio Taxi and Taxi Socota therefore prices might vary slightly according to the company.

By Bus
ATAF and LI-NEA are the two bus companies that run public transport within Florence. Routes from the city centre cover all areas of the city. Tickets must be stamped on the bus and can be purchased at the ATAF ticket office or in bars and tabacconists. At night, tickets may be purchased directly from the driver.

Lazzi Coaches
A line of coaches that links Florence with Pistoia, Montecatini/Lucca and Viareggio/La spezia.
