From the Airport
Galileo Galilei International Airport is located only a few km from the city of Pisa. The best way to get to Pisa from the airport is by bus; the CPT buses leave from outside the airport in various directions.
A train service links the airport with Pisa Centrale, Pisa’s main Railway station; the train is a good option if you intend to continue your journey further by train to other places in Italy. Otherwise the bus, a taxi or collective taxi are a better way to get to your final destination within Pisa.

A taxi from the airport to the city centre should cost between 5 and 7 Euros.
Radio Taxi offers a 24 service that can be accessed by dialing 050541600.

The Collective Taxi option is available everyday from 8am to midnight with cars that can carry up to 8 people. The cost per person is a set fee of  €2,50 (Airport –Pisa Centrale Railway Station) and €4,00 for the journey from the Airport to Duomo Square and Santa Chiara Hospital.

By Bus
CPT urban buses cover the whole city. There are three main LAM (Linea Alta Mobilità) lines;
Red: Airport – Railway Station – Leaning Tower – Park Pietrasantina
Green: Central Railway Station – Pratale
Blue: Central Railway Station – Cisanello

By Train
Pisa’s main train Station is Pisa Centrale with several daily connections with major Italian cities, regional and local trains.
Secondary Stations are Pisa San Rossore and Pisa Migliarino where only local and some regional trains stop.
